About Wendy

From one salon chair in Kaohsiung to classrooms and judging panels in four countries.

Wendy

Wendy started behind the chair. Facing a different eye shape, a different lash condition and a different expectation every day, she noticed something: the same method on two different people produces two different results. The difference was never hand speed. It was judgment.

To write that judgment down, she began breaking out the reason behind every decision — why this shield size, why this processing time, why this lash should be left alone. That breakdown became a curriculum, and later became the way she reads a competition score sheet.

Since founding W Beauty Lab in 2019, her work has had three parts: running an education brand in Taiwan, teaching abroad, and judging and writing standards at international competitions. Each one sharpens the others — teaching forces clarity, judging forces rigour, competition keeps the standard honest.

Roles

Decide before you touch

Every class opens with reading the eye and the lash, not with a technique.

Roles

Every decision needs a reason

Students have to say why — not "because that's how I was taught".

Roles

Checked against a scoring standard

Homework is marked with competition score-sheet logic, so results hold up to third-party review.

Roles

If it can't be repeated, it isn't teaching

A process is only finished when students in another language and another market can reproduce it.
